(3) his interview with Ruminator magazine confirms that he supported Bush's Iraq war,

(4) his public voting records confirm he lied about voting for Gore in 2000,

(5) he hasn't voted for a Democrat in any election at least from 1994 to 2004,

(6) he wants to take time out of the school day for prayers in public schools,

(7) he wants to post the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms,

(8) he thinks "Negro is a charming word,"

(9) he thinks "Mexico is not a poor country," and

(10) his immigration policy of hiring Mexican generals to police our border is a right-wing extremist's fantasy.

(11) He's using the election to sell CDs. That's what his campaign is entirely about. Get better gigs, empty out the overstock, exploit ethnic stereotypes for money, and bring in a few extra contracts to his core business. Hell, Friedman's running on the American dream.

Or how about where Kinky told the Texarkana Gazette <http://www.texarkanagazette.com/articles/2006/04/23/local_news/opinion/opinions02.txt> that the only reason any politicians were in favor of amnesty was because "all of these politicians are afraid of offending Hispanics. I want the border off the evening news until we get something resolved." (Note the extra GOP bonus points for proposing to censor the evening news!).

Or where Kinky told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram <http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/news/14367663.htm> that "I'm taking a harder line on immigration" and that the immigration protest marchers were "half playing hooky."

I saw in Austin a few months ago. I thought Austinites were smarter than that.

6. Two of my favorite people have them too...

I also thought they were smarter than that.

Both strongly anti-W, both D's, yet they have Kinky stickers on their cars. I've questioned them both, one says he's a close friend of a relative; the other hasn't given me any reason.

It's scary, and weird.
