I have been spreading the word around my area about the corridor coming through to try and get Perry thrown out. Me and my wife will most likely put our house and property on the market at a decent price to try and get what we put in to it if Perry is elected. Property is still selling in the area. I-69 hasn't drawn as much attention as I-35. I would love to sell it to a Perry supporter and let them fight it out. I feel so stuck. This election has such an impact on my life. I'm am just sick at my stomach. If Perry loses, there is a chance this thing will die. I never once believed I would be part of an eminent domain situation. BASTARDS !!!!! My neighbor threatened a certain politician in a very strong way today. People are pissed. I just hope enough are pissed or I will have to quickly sell my property. I don't want to do this, but I feel like I have to.

We're going to get it blown out, but we have to work hard to get a few Democrats elected. We can't just say "Adios MoFo" to Goodhair and expect to solve it that way.

2. I think a really good idea is letters to the editor. |
|
Lots of people read them, and if they don't see it in the news, they might find out that way. You could also consider passing out flyers. I've done both of these, and while none of my letters have ever made it into the paper, I find the flyer thing more fun anyway. Better way to meet people of like minds... it's very encouraging! :) (Well, it used to be, when I was in Dallas... now... not so much... but what can I do but keep trying?)
