Texas Democratic voter registration: Check in!
Wow.
San Antonio voter reg way up:
http://www.offthekuff.com/mt/archives/004235.html
"According to election records, there were 896,913 registered voters in Bexar County as of Tuesday afternoon — about 25,000 more than the 2000 presidential election."

Austin voter reg way up:
http://www.burntorangereport.com/archives/002294.html
"Since Sept. 1, the county tax office has received 29,865 voter registration applications, a 64 percent jump from the 18,207 received during the same period in September 2000."

No stats for Dallas yet, but we KNOW we've been workin' it! Anecdotal evidence at:
http://www.dallasforkerry.com/blog/journal/journal_comments.asp?JournalID=10

Houston, want to check in?

Read the whole Kuff article above, it's pretty good. Talks about these areas tend to trend D with greater voter reg and participation.

1. Midnight today is the deadline
I should be in bed. I'm getting materials from headquarters at 5 AM and then registering voters all day long. Whew!

3. You rock!
I did guerrila politics last night and put flyers up on the drivethru boxes at the fast food places by my house.

And I'm headed out to register folks after work. But DAMN, 5AM...you are THE MAN! :)
