Anybody attending Texas Historical Association
112th meeting in in Corpus in March.

It is being done jointly with the Hispanic History of Texas Project. Some of the presentations look really interestg, such as:

The Struggle for Educational Rights

Women Activists Across Texas - 3 papers on Hispanic Women activists

Protesting and Negotiating Rights

And a lot of other good stuff. There is a free mixer for graduate students.

1. This is the first time I've heard of it.
I can't go, but it does indeed sound interesting.

2. A family friend from Henrietta Tx
who is now a history professor at North Carolin State is giving 2 presentations at the conference and one to the County Historical Society on Tejanos in the Texas Revolution.
