2. Austinites if you missed this - I feel sorry for you
This was the absolute best I've seen or heard Obama, and I've been to two of his rallies. And I've watched 3 of his latest appearances being streamed. The Dallas, Houston and Corpus Christi speeches. He is so confident and poised. He's learned to work the crowd with ease.

Austin loves Obama and we will deliver this city for Obama! An estimated 30,000 people filled the streets of Downtown Austin for this rally. I wasn't sure if the crowd was that large or larger but I just saw on Fox that was the estimate. It could have been larger.

Great slide show here:

Texans for Obama site.
Ian Davis' post 30,000!

Man that is beautiful. What fabulous pictures!

Like Ron Kirk said in Dallas, we started it here in Texas and we have to end it here.

We will deliver Texas for Obama and retire bush to his ranchette.

:woohoo:

4. it was a great rally!
Senator Obama was great and it was a great crowd. I was going to go early vote for Obama today anyway, but I really feel good about it now. Not that I felt bad about it or wish that I had another more perfect choice; I just really feel good about his vision for The USA.

One of the things I love about big Democratic rallies, especially Obabma's last night, is that it really looks like America. Not all pasty middle age white guys, but every color, age, and class. Senator Obama will run away with the election. No Republican can beat him.

5. That is so true - "No Republican can beat him"
He's already campaigning against McCain. "McCain is lassoed" like he said last night to the bush policies. His policies are the policies of the past and of failure. Obama's policies are for our future. And he is the only candidate who can debate McCain and say he didn't vote for the war. He can take the position that he knew it was wrong then, and that we're going to get out of Iraq 2009.

While McCain is tethered to having to support the disastrous war and bush policies. And ridiculously offering his plan to stay in Iraq for a 100 years.

Clear choice for who the best President will be.

Yes we can!
