DALLAS: Debate Disruptor Alert!!

OK, folks - the third and final Presidential debate is on Wednesday, October 13. Dallas folks wanting to gather for a watching party should be on the lookout for disruptors, possibly FReepers or other allied neo-con types.

This guy tried to disrupt the tail end of the second debate on Friday at the Granada Theater in Dallas:



He's the guy on the left with the half-cocky, half-surprised look on his face. Didn't expect me to take pictures, didja? :evilgrin:



He can be seen on the far left. Security guards (to his right, in black) escorted him out of the theater about 5-10 seconds after this photo was taken.

Be on the lookout for next time. Let security do their job - after all, they're here to look out for all of us. But if this guy or another disruptor tries to crash a Dallas watching party, make your presence known. And take pictures if you can.

I don't know what is. It's not like he was disrupting a Kerry rally -- it was a debate, forgodsakes.

I was waitin for this post all weekend!

I had a front row seat for this asshole. I noticed, off to my right, a voice starting to say "Bullshit" to everything Kerry said, looked back, and a guy to HIS right got up in his face, shaking his fist and said "Get the fuck out of here!"

"I'm an American! Free speech!" Asshole shot back.

That may be true, but I don't tempt fate by showing up at a Republican debate-watching party and yelling "bullshit" to everything shrub says. I'd pretty much expect a bunch of goold ole boys to take me out in the back and beat the shit out of me, brainiac. Why should you expect any less? There were Kerry signs all over outside.

The Democrat got right up next to him and yelled "FUCK GEORGE BUSH!!!"

That was it. They were about to come to blows when the security guards (just Granada employees, essentially. Thanks guys! :-) )
came over and showed him the way to the door. He took off on his own. His bimbo girlfriend was there too, egging on the female contingent. One lady I'd met previously at the Pride PArade a few weeks ago was about ready to tear her arm from the socket, it sounded like.

I was so proud of derby for thinking fast! :D Things turned ugly REALLY quick.

I still think crispini could have taken him. She threatened as much. I wanted to sell tickets to THAT matchup!
