Fort Bend Commissioner who gave us eSlates defeated! |
|
In the Repub primary! http://www.herald-coaster.com/articles/2008/04/09/news/news01.txtSo he's out no matter what (even if his primary opponent does appear to be cut from the same cloth - well, I'm hoping for a Dem win anyway, of course). Voted for the eSlates after he promised to vote against them. Ha! Take that! Gloat, gloat! http://www.kissmybigbluebutt.com/february2008.htm#feb12stavinohahttp://www.brazosriver.com/novdec.html#110701

The first to tilt at Tom DeLay. Not sure why he wanted to run for *commissioner*, but it's OK with me.

5. It's a great race for Richard |
|
It's a powerful position in Fort Bend County politics and it would allow him to be at home with his young family. IMPORTANT!
I'm so proud of Richard. I block walked with him Saturday before the this past Tuesday's runoff election. Great times. He is so good at the door!
We need more Dem elected officials in Fort Bend County and I am so grateful to Richard that he wants to do this for us.
I told him, "uh-oh, this means more blockwalking". :) He said "no problem, I don't mind blockwalking against a Republican!"

4. Sweet! I love Richard Morrison |
|
He's gotta start somewhere. And all politics are local. Make sure you send him all the information you have on those voting machines so he's up on the issue!
I think I saw that Fort Bend was trying to move to Optical Scan by November if they can get the SOS to approve them.
Good luck!
