I've been hiding in my cave for a bit. I've gotten so fed up with the rampaging misogyny on so much of the blogosphere right now that I've been hard pressed to read anything other than Reclusive Leftist and I Blame The Patriarchy for a while now.

North Carolina is lovely in the spring. Work is ok. And I went to short bus president's wedding this past weekend.

Anyway, if there's anything you want to ask about...feel free...I'll be around a bit today. :)

6. right now...

probably not. I'm fed up. When the national party calls wanting money or time...my response is two-fold...1) I'm not giving them a dime until they do something about seating Florida and Michigan, and 2) since women my age and older don't seem to matter to them they can call one of the blogger boyz (who seem to be the only people they care about anymore) to phone bank or block walk or whatever.

Did I mention I'm fed up?

And I'm not talking about who I'm voting for (though it's probably obvious) because I'm not willing to put up with any more shit about it from people who weren't even Democrats 8 years ago who seem to think that I'm the one who isn't a "real" Democrat. *sigh* I'm hard pressed to think of anything that has made me madder in the last year than kos, a man who worked for Henry Fucking Hyde, having the gall to claim anyone isn't a "real" Democrat.

Yeah, I'm getting bitter.

I might work for some local candidates later on in the year. I don't know any of them well enough yet to say.

Right now I'm still a little frustrated with my county party. Because we couldn't get 5 people to show up for my precinct meeting, we weren't allowed to organize and no one from my precinct could go to the county or State conventions. I have an issue with being disenfranchised that way.

without you sitting in it. You get fed up with NC, I'm sure there are a lot of couches and spare bedrooms you could claim.

I'm glad you have nice weather and an ok job since that is what drug you away from us.
