Dallas/Fort Worth DUers: Post-Convention Party!!

Since a lot of us are still recovering from the convention in Austin last week, I propose we get together on Saturday the 21st for lunch, decompression, or whatever!

EDITED : sometime we need to do a FW/D Meetup on a Saturday afternoon at the Rahr Brewery in Ft Worth. Free beer and a tour, every Saturday. Beer is good and very cold too.

While you're "on the border," come up with some snappy responses to Dreher's defense of pharmacists who refuse to sell contraceptives.

Dreher won't be back 'til Monday. Surprisingly, he "didn't use protection" and left the blog open, instead of holding responses for approval before posting! So have at it, pro-choice, pro-contraceptive bloggers!

Friday night we lost our internet connection, and spent most of the day trying to get it fixed.

I think YellowDog had a good idea about meeting up @ Rahr Brewery. They have a tour between 1:00-3:00 and offer FREE BEER I think they charge $5 for a mug but then it's bottoms up ALL the Beer you can :beer:


I haven't been there, however, Tarrant Obama had a meet up there.

If I try to organize another get-together, however, I'm choosing a different venue - this On The Border location is starting to use too much salt.

Rahr sounds like fun, but I'm trying to find a halfway point for Tarrant and Dallas DUers to meet at. I can't have everyone meet at the Denny's just down the street from us, y'know.
