I kept away from the downtown area of Houston because of their convention last week for good reason. These racist idiots were selling buttons that stated:

If Obama is President will we still call it the White House.

The GOP should immediately denounce these buttons and issue an apology. The "Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Deportation" also pisses me off. :mad:

In the Texas Republican party. And they couldn't be bothered with even disavowing it. There has been no words of rejecting from the Texas republican leadership. Their silence seems to indicate their approval of this message.

The White House button has led the Texas GOP to donate the $1,500 Alcox paid for two booth spaces to Midwest flood relief.

UPDATE: Party spokesman Hans Klingler said today: "This vendor need not apply to another Texas GOP state convention. The proceeds from their booth space will be donated to charity. We will not tolerate nor profit from bigotry."

Wow, how about that. The TX GOP was actually guilted to do the right thing. Color me skeptical, but I want to see the donation check they actually sent to Midwest flood relief. :eyes:
