Fort Worth Star Telegram endorses Bush....Reluctantly?
No surprise really...but they claim they are doing it because Bush* fostered an atmosphere of co-operation when he was governor. Personally, I think it's Bullshit with a capital "B" and will be sending them a copy of my cheque made out to the Iconoclast with my LTTE.

Would appreciate everyone's input...

1. I quit taking the S-T a couple of years back due to some
delivery problems... I believe I will call them up when they open later and ask them to remove me from their database.

2. yeah, riiiiiiiight!!!!
If he is re-elected, we expect to see and hear a vocal Bush forcefully proposing a clean policy for fiscal restraint coupled with compassion -- and using his veto power to enforce it.

In short, we expect to see the George W. Bush whom we sent to Washington in the first place.

3. I read that and I think
they just need the back-bone to say no to Shrub and yes to Kerry but for some reason didn't do it. He was not the uniter they say he was here in Texas either.

The ST has been the only democratic leaning paper in the area for years and now this crap! WTF!

4. So did the repuke controlled Dallas Morning News
No surprise there. But cheer up Kerry is still kicking ass in the number of newspaper endorsements.

Check out this DailyKOS thread for some good news about the fact that Kerry's getting crucial swing state endorsements that bu$h had last time.

And this link for the rundown so far

And another happy note the Houston Chronicle endorsed Richard Morrison over Tom DeLay.

6. Shame, shame on my hometown paper!
Endorsing an illusion, the "old" Bush, you know the one who made all the promises in 2000 which, of course, turned out to be lies and misrepresentations. The Star-Telegram is certain that Bush will do in the next four years, what he has not done in the last four.

As Bush himself TRIED to say, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...."
