I don't know much about Texas law enforcement, but the legend is always that the Texas Rangers supersede all other law enforcement in the state - no ifs ands, or buts. My father, a sadly addicted Faux News aficionado, called me this morning claiming that FEMA had revoked the Rangers' role as top-dog law enforcement.
I simply wanted to know if it's true? (In this day and age I know it's certainly possible.) I have checked Snopes, obviously, but I see nothing about it. Would this be an outrage to Texans, or a relief?
Thanks for any input, and I hope everyone (even the ones I disagree with politically) is safe and sound.

stuff.
don't think that's true.
FEMA couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel - I don't think we're in danger of them taking over anything.
Even the Republican judge who is in charge of Harris County government calls their response "spotty".
The best distribution is in the wealthiest neighborhoods - if you live in a poor part of town - you're SOL>
