First Voter in County for KERRY... ME!!

I WAS THE VERY FIRST VOTER IN THE COUNTY AND VOTED A STRAIGHT DEM TICKET IN BASTROP COUNTY TX

I WAS NOT ALONE, THERE WERE OTHER DEMS THERE AND THE PARKING LOT HAD MORE DEM THAN * BUMPER STICKERS IN IT.

I going to pick up some elderly voters to help vote him out this afternoon.. its time to volunteer locally too so we can get out the vote GOTV time folks.

Ive never been active but after what we saw bush do to the nation we have to get busy with the work to save this nation for our kids. etc.

My friend and I waited until 1 pm to vote, and already 90 people ahead of us on the list. We usually don't have that high of a turnout, and am keeping my fingers crossed that the dems are turning out. I know a lot of repubs that aren't going to vote for * this time, or are staying home because of how bad he has been.

I've been leery of e-voting, but I'm starting to hear more encouraging news about the process from DUers who are part of the process - I may break down and do it myself.
