Citizen's Advocate Newspaper (Coppell, Texas) Kerry Endorsement
I was looking at Kerry's newspaper endorsements for Texas and besides our brave little Crawford "Lone Star Iconoclast", this one was listed too. It is a wonderful endorsement, go read the whole thing. Coppell is in Dallas county somewhere near DFW.

Yeah Coppell, TX!!!

For the Sake of Peace and Future Security, Bush Should be Denied Four More Years
"With full realization that we serve a Republican community in the President's home state, we feel a responsibility nevertheless to urge you to say no to a second term for George W. Bush, based on foreign policy and national security concerns alone. Judged by the international morass we are in today, four more years of continued Bush foreign policy could result in irreparable harm internationally and internally, affecting this nation's safety, security, and, most importantly, the lives of those whose burden it is and will be to carry out Bush's goals, our troops and the future military- our children."
(snip)
"George Bush is a Texas product, and Texas needs to take responsibility on behalf of the country to help end his downward-spiraling foreign policy. Were there not a proven, strong, steady, courageous, highly intelligent choice, that would be a different matter. But we do have a choice, U.S. Senator John Kerry, who has been chosen four times by the people who knew him best. For the sake of world peace and our domestic security, please carefully consider making a change in leadership behind the closed door of the voting booth on November 2."

Slam dunk!!! You can bet the repukes in Coppell are screaming bloody murder to this paper.

4. oh noooo, poor gary, the yucky dreaded district 24............
Kenny Marchant and the Texas republicans created this gerrymandered district especially for Kenny Marchant.

Looks like Gary Page is facing an uphill battle.

According to opnsecrets, as of 9/30/2004, Kenny Ewell Marchant has raised $569,611, spent $455,799 and had $113,809 cash on hand.

Gary Page had raised $5702, spent $4313 and had $2311 cash on hand.

Kenny is a real piece of work. His specialties are catering to the religous right, banking interests and rich dudes from Highland Park. His campaign contributions definately contain some evil empire money (becherl).

Looking forward in a dark way to Kenny's adventures in Washington. This asshat might make Delay-the-bugman look sane and reasonable.

Fun Fact: Kenny recently purchased a ranch in Cooke County that is bigger than Farmer Chimpys operation in McClellen County. Rancher Kenny has too many cows and crappy fences.

Buy a ranch then go to Washington and spread some bullshit............
