North Texas has 3.0 magnitude earthquake

DALLAS — A 3.0 magnitude earthquake shook parts of North Texas, but no significant damage was immediately reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake, reported at 12:01 a.m. Friday, was centered in an area about 10 miles west of Dallas.

The federal agency also says the impact area was about 20 miles east-northeast of Fort Worth.

Oh my god, those voters are shaking up the state!
:wow:

Stay in line y'all and keep voting Texas!

:kick:

Minor earthquakes hit Dallas-Fort Worth area

DALLAS — Several minor earthquakes gave some Texas and Oklahoma residents an early Halloween scare, but no injuries or damage were reported.

A 2.5-magnitude quake at 11:25 p.m. Thursday near Grand Prairie started a series of other small earthquakes in that Dallas suburb, followed by a 3.0-magnitude quake at 12:01 a.m. Friday in nearby Irving, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Irving police received 911 calls from about 25 people saying they had felt the quakes, but there were no reports of injuries or damage, Officer David Tull said Friday morning.

:kick: for the shifting tectonic plates of Texas under the weight of Democratic voters!

4. 3.0? That isn't much, is it?
I used to have speakers that could register 3.2.

5. Every shift counts
You can't say that the steady determined push forward isn't effective - I mean look at the whole Obama campaign. Steady and slow, yet he's going to win this election. It may not feel like a huge earthquake but change is coming to Texas!

I'm with Margaret Mead on this one:
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

7. Didn't feel a thing in North Arlington
I'm very close to Grand Prairie and Irving. Had a Houston friend call me and ask about it today. First I knew of it.

Pretty much a non-event as far as I can see.....
