to DU and the Texas forum. If you live in Angelina County, what do you observe on the ground there as relates to Democratic momentum? What is the prospect for the downballot races there?

Angelina County usually goes Repub for Pres, Senate & House, and statewide, but tends to go Dem for locals. State Rep Jim McReynolds (Dem - Dist 12) will probably get re-elected. Sheriff Kent Henson (Dem) in a tight nasty race. Several Dems in county offices are running unopposed. Probably no surprises here.
