AAARRRGGGHHH!!! 8 long years I've waited!! Now...
...I have to spend election night incommunicado!! Editorial asked us all to stay off the internet tonight here at the pape in order to not tie up bandwidth (which I fully understand) but the night tech just called in and I've got to pull a double and stay until the pape's out. I've no doubts whatsoever about the outcome, but damn...I so wanted to see it happen on the Tubes at DU with my fellow sufferers. Any Austinites who don't subscribe to the local pape might want to grab a newstand copy tomorrow, because if it looks like the dummy they showed us in the pressroom last week it'll be a real beaut...you'll be proud to have it among your souvenirs.

My wife promised to call me with regular updates but it won't be the same. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

1. Sorry to hear you're going to miss the talking heads
But of course you gotta save your job!

So far the reports are very good turnouts. No huge lines except for UT but a nice steady stream of voters. We should make 70-80% turnout in Travis. Hell the SOS is predicting a 68% turnout for the whole state or about 9 million voters.

Go Texas!

2. From the beginning of time, to the end of days.
I have been waiting for this day of reawakening. For all my life.

I woke up at 2:am this morning. Can't get back to sleep. Looks like it going to be a long night.

I'm in Houlton Me. Tonight.

Trying to keep up with what's happening in Texas.

It's a long ways off.

Try and keep me up dated. OK.

3. I talked 'em into letting me run to the apartment for a meal.
I'll eat the one I left in the icebox at work tomorrow night. :-)
For now, though, I have until 8:40. It's lookin' good, ain't it?
The people aren't just speaking...they're YELLING!
YAY, HAGAN, WARNER, AND SHAHEEN!!!
:applause:
