DMN endorsed Frost this morning!
Guess they have to show they're not 100% partisan. Whatever, it was a good endorsement, I'll take it! :D

1. Thanks for posting this on top
I haven't posted enough to be deemed worthy by Democratic Underground to post a new topic, so I posted the link as a reply to a previous topic.

I was glad to see this--after Pete's performance Sunday night, there's no way they could endorse him without looking like total shills for the right-wingers.

3. Great news
Now if we can just keep getting out the vote we can win these seats back and stick it to DeLay, and that would of course include DeLay's seat being lost.

Link to the endorsement?

snip...

"Mr. Frost is a moderate who has shown his ability to work across party lines. Mr. Sessions, by comparison, is known as both more ideological and more partisan.

Mr. Frost has a reputation as a fierce and savvy tactician, which makes him somebody you like to have on your side. Case in point: delivering money for a vital second DART rail line in downtown Dallas – a continuation of his longtime support for mass transit. "

6. Love the swipe at DeLay to boot
"This is a choice we shouldn't have to make. Yet at House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's insistence, the Texas Legislature drew 13-term Democratic veteran Martin Frost out of his longtime congressional district and into the district represented by four-term GOP Rep. Pete Sessions. "

Do you hear that you prick DeLay?
