Do you live in DALLAS? Need help - Wednesday, 1:00 - urgent!
Am desperately seeking people to attend a city council meeting at city hall at 1:00 today to show their support for our neighborhood, Little Forest Hills, and our quest to get a conservation district. Over 70% of the people who live in the neighborhood support this but not everyone can attend the meeting because they are working - so if you are free please go on behalf of one of these neighbors! Unfortunately although the vast majority of the neighborhood supports this, there are a lot of developers and investors from outside the neighborhood who own property in the neighborhood and the overall vote is not good.

WE MUST HAVE A HUGE ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING TO PASS-- YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!

If you have any questions please post here or PM me. Thanks!

6. I was there.

I was one of the ones for the CD who stood in line to put our 2 cents worth in. Frankly, I think our councilman (Kadane) sandbagged us, so did the CPC after voting overwhelmingly (one no vote) to approve it. Where did the 65% number come from? He pulled it out of his *ss, that's where.

We also compromised with the builders and took out the tear-down provision. This was then used against us to "prove" it wasn't a CD!

This council is worthless.

I should have known I'd have at least one neighbor who's a DU'er. Check your PM. :)
