DeLay, other lawmakers received flu shots

At least nine members of the Texas delegation said they got a flu shot through a Capitol physician – some after government officials were urging healthy adults to forgo shots so those at higher risk could be vaccinated.

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay received his shot. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison was offered a shot, but refused it because of the shortage.

Those who did get shots said they did so for various reasons, including their own health issues, age and because the impact of the contamination and shortage wasn't well understood in the early days after the government announced the shortage.

The federal government announced October 5 that there would be a severe shortage this year after one of the companies that supplies vaccine for the U.S. market was shut down because of contamination problems.

He's so full of bile and wrath and pure evil that even a flu virus couldn't live in his body.

Now a Texas grandfather or grandmother will die. He has literally taken someone's life with this shot. Who will it be? Your aging mother? Your uncle? Your father's mother? Who will die because Tom DeLay put himself first?

...and that's fine with me. He needs it--I've heard that working with idiots is bad for your health. His immune system is probably severly compromised from debating Sessions, so he deserves a flu shot.
