Where will you be the evening of 11/2? |
|
Will you be watching the returns at home? Or at a Victory Party? I am not sure where I will be. I know there is a Kerry party at Drexeler's BBQ and a Morrison party at the Marriott in Sugarland. John's club, the Bay Area New Democrats are also having a party in the Clear Lake area. I probably should be at the Morrison party, since that is where I have been the most involved, but it is WAYYYYYYYYYYY across town from me (over an hour each way). So, I am still weighing my options.
FYI, at www.johnkerry.com, you can search for events by zipcode to see if anyone has listed a Victory Party near you.

I see you visit several state forums. Where are you from? Will you be in Fl as a resident or travel there as a volunteer?

Isn't it great?!? I get to have 2 part-time jobs because the economy is so robust! Bush and all the swine who support that piece of shit SUCK. I wish someone would get within range of Bush and Cheney and do the right thing!!!! And yes, that's EXACTLY what I mean !!!!

And I DO know what you mean. Have you seen Eminem's Mosh video? There's a link in either GD04 or GD. I think you'd enjoy it.

13. I will have a terminal case of perma-grin if Texas goes blue... |
|
My fantasy for this election is a shocking blue landslide, electorally AND P.V. I wish so badly to show conservatives that the majority are AGAINST them.
But the reality is I am soooooooooo nervous!

for several weeks now, i've been doing the "60 seconds for kerry" thing, even did it last week while on vacation. i would get up each morning & walk on the track around the sun deck repeating in my mind (thanks to all the repubs on the ship :P )"john kerry wins the presidential election by landslide margins in both the popular & electoral votes on nov. 2, 2004." for one lap, then would repeat "kerry carries texas" on the next lap.
hey, i was disconnected from the net & my local dems. i had to do something! :P

... with my blessed parents. They are both old and ailing, and miss a lot of the details, but both are true yellow-dog democrats. To grow up, in the sixties, the son of two liberal journalists - now that's a good thing. I honor them both, and I'll be happy to have a quiet (or maybe not so quiet!) celebration with them on Tuesday night. I can fill them in on the stuff that goes over their heads.
