DELAY SUES DEMOCRACY FOR AMERICA
In a move apparently designed to try to intimidate Howard Dean and DFA, Tom DeLay has filed suit, charging defamation of character (seriously), over an ad being run by DFA in Houston in support of Dean Dozen candidate Richard Morrison. So has Governor Dean backed down? In true Dean fashion, he’s responded by saying DFA will begin running another ad tonight. 10. Delay is an idiot and is also getting desparate

There is no way that he can win a defamation lawsuit in Texas on political speech. The ad in question is very factual and well documented. Delay sees his power base faling apart and is scared.

The good news is that the ad will be given a great deal of press now.
