Tom DeLay walking door to door?!?!? Is he desperate or what?
“I did 95 doors yesterday in a little over two hours,” said Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas), who has traded his hard-soled dress shoes for white running sneakers since Congress recessed for the election.

Yet another first for DeLay!!! He debated, he printed signs, he opened not one, but TWO headquarters, he is sending literature multiple times, he has poll workers (or at least till it gets too hot or humiliated), he is running ads, and he is running attack ads against his opponents.

And now he is walking? the most powerful man in congress is walking for votes?

I think he knows something we dont know.,

5. Tom DeLay at your door is a THREAT if you're not a Republican!!!!
The article doesn't say if he is targeting GOP voters, undecideds, or DEMS.

Seriously, if I lived in Texas and Tom DeLay appeared at MY door I might have a heart attack.

7. “I did 95 doors yesterday in a little over two hours,”
Total bullshit.

That gives him a minute and a half per address for walking house to house (in spread-out suburbia), waiting for them to answer the door, and talking to the voter.

Sounds like Tom was just hangin' tags on doors and not knocking.

Or he's just a liar. You pick.

10. My thoughts too!
We can put out 100 door hangers in an hour walking door to door on the average.

8. DeLay is going down
Money or no money the repuke is toast. Please make sure you contribute to keep those ads running. What has this arrogant bastard done for his district? Nothing but bring a stink of corruption with him.

We have to run him out of town and out of state. What would an unemployed DeLay do, well go work for the RNC of course. My preference is that he serve his time in jail first though. That's the only door he should see - the cell door closing.

9. It sure seems like he's toast. He'd have to be desperate to
take to knocking on doors. Unless of course, he's lying.

13. I Did My Little Bit...
I've already contributed money to the Richard Morrison campaign. Being shuffled into a gerrymandered congressional district (the rotten barbelled 10th) bites it.

14. If DeLay Loses, We Could Yank Righties' Tails And Say
If DeLay loses, we can yank the right wing-nutz' tails and say that DeLay has been ex-Foley-ated. That should pull the wingie-dingies' chains.
