D/FW DUers - did anyone hear Mark Cuban on KNON this a.m.?

I had no idea he was involved with a project in combination with some producer from MTV... they sent hundreds of videocameras to Iraq and let the people record whatever they wanted. Sent prepaid mailing supplies and had them return them... they got 450 hours of video. This has been edited down to 1 1/2 hours and will be shown at the Inwood starting tomorrow.

FYI Cuban donated to a repug in '96, and to a Dem in '02 (thanks newsmeat!)

1. He strikes me as a Republican.

I knew about the film, didn't know about his involvement. Makes me wonder about the end product.

Can anyone vouch for Cuban?

2. He's normally progressive, but the repug in question was orin hatch :(

I wonder if he lost a bet or something. It seems pretty out of character for Cuban, who I think of as a pretty progressive guy as far as billionaires go.
