Houston-Free Ice Cream Tomorrow!

Join the IBEW Union Local 716, Seafarers and HCDP for free ice cream sundaes this Sunday, July 19, and petition signings for Democratic judicial candidates.

The festivities will occur at the Communications Workers of America Local 6222 Hall at 1730 Jefferson, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. We have scores of candidates seeking judicial office in the 2010 elections and they each need hundreds of signatures to secure a place on the ballot. Please come help them out and enjoy a refreshing sundae and some good Democratic fun as we support these fine candidates by helping them get their petitions signed.

Bring your sweet tooth and your voter registration card, if you have it available, but even if you don’t, come anyway (we’ll look up your voter registration number for you).

That’s this Sunday, July 19 – CWA Hall downtown – 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.!
