DCCC kids walking for Frost
I met some of the DCCC kids Sunday walking my neighborhood. They said they were surprised to see so many Kerry & Frost signs up already. In DC, they'd been told not to wear their Kerry buttons down here & were suprised to find themselves in such a heavily Democratic area!

I told them there'd be a lot more Kerry signs around here if they didn't cost $5.00 each! Five bucks is a lot for some of us to spend on a piece of cardboard on a stake that's going to get beaten down in the rain.

(I have a Kerry sign, but I got it free at Center on the Square in Richardson at the GOTV event October 16--they were piled on the table & nobody was in sight, so I grabbed one for my yard!)

1. Great to hear!
In my area of Dallas (east of SMU), Frost signs outnumber Sessions signs about 2 to 1. I'd say that there are not that many more Bush signs than Kerry signs either. I never knew I had so many neighbors who are also Democrats.

3. Same in my area, NW Hwy & Inwood/Midway area, west of tollroad!
Frost signs outnumber Sessions 2 to 1. More Kerry than Bush signs, too (but generally, not many presidential signs on either side).

Could be more Dem supporters. Or could be that the Dems were more active in getting signs to supporters than Sessions. Sessions did a lot of phone work.

2. Her in my very poor county, we are giving them away. We ask for a
donation but will give one to anyone who asks so we can see a presence in town. We also had to go to Austin to get them.

4. There was no charge in Denton.
But there were generally also no signs available. Still, I got my original sign and my replacement when that one was stolen.

And in one of the most-Republican counties in Texas (but in the City of Denton, which is more Dem), there are a lot of Kerry signs out there.

5. I saw these kids this morning!
I drive through the intersection at Illinois and Cockrell Hill to go to work. There were four young people with Frost shirts and signs looking very energetic in the cold and drizzle.
