Thugs on the Run--Have you seen them?

Three racist pigs beat up a black man driving an ice cream truck in a Tomball subdivision. They have been identified and charged and apparently are on the run (story at link).

3. And here's the kicker

Since they have already been identified, they can't exactly "work legally" in Texas. So either family or friends are hiding them and giving them support. Not very smart. They're going to get hit with evading arrest charges as well as the assault.

Keep it up idiots. Just keep it up. When they land in prison - who is going to help them?

"HOUSTON—Three men wanted in the brutal beating of a local ice cream truck driver were in custody Tuesday.

U.S. Marshals said an influx of Crime Stoppers tips led them to one of the suspects, Dale Howell.

After that, the two other men, Christopher Elledge and Troy Elledge, surrendered on their own.

All three men are charged with the alleged assault of Victor McDonald."

Victim says he's trying to forgive suspects

Victor McDonald said Tuesday that he was trying to forgive the three men he says blocked his ice cream truck and beat him while shouting racist epithets in northwest Harris County last month.

"I don't forgive the act, but I can forgive them," McDonald, 44, said. "They made a choice. I've made bad decisions and I've been forgiven."

He said he does not know what should happen to them if they are convicted of committing a hate crime, which carries a maximum range of punishment of life in prison, but hopes to find justice in court.

"For God's sake, I sell ice cream," he said. "What threat did I pose to them?"

He later added, "I'm not a vicious person. I don't want them to hurt anyone else, but I'm not malicious."

Victor McDonald is so much of a better person than these 3 idiots put together. What are the chances that if the tables were turned that one of them would be so forgiving?

They might want to reconsider their prejudices before being imprisoned. Although, if movie portrayals are true, there is a good deal of segregation in prisons. :shrug:

11. You know, it sometimes seems sad to me, when I see pics of thugs. These are attractive men.

They have advantages in life that some others don't have. They were once cute little babies.

What the hell happened, I sometimes wonder, that they ended up as hard nosed soon-to-be convicts, full of hatred and violence? When I think of the lives they could have had...working regular jobs, pretty wives, beautiful children, friends, loving family. But they decided to go this route and ruin their lives, as well as the lives of others.

It just makes me wonder sometimes.
