It is hard enough being a Democratic in Texas fighting against repubs, but we also have to fight some of our fellow Dems. on DU too? I don't get it. This has been the biggest surprise for me since joining DU. I've helped Dems. from other states before because I want to help my fellow Dems. The particular state didn't matter.

EVERY state has repub. idiots and EVERY state has Democrats who are working hard for change.

It also doesn't seem like a Democratic value, to lump a large group of people into one category and simply write them off.

Simple as that. They don't feel good about themselves unless they can put someone else down. Sad but true.

In the past, I've always attributed bigotry as a repub. characteristic. We Democrats do have a mighty big tent though! :)
