What kind of town is it, politically and otherwise? I've never heard of that town before last week when I met someone who said they were from there.

Even though over 70k live here (yes, here), it is not incorporated and is governed by its own rules and the laws of Montgomery County. Politically, it is like much of the suburbs around Houston, right wing to put it mildly. Why do I live here? It is a very pleasant and convenient environment and close to my family. 'Nuf said.
