From Spring Texas
I went to the polls at 6:30 after morning workout and there were a bunch of Rethugs waiting in the rain (of course I am guessing they are rethugs but it is Spring, TX). The line stretched to the side of the schoolhouse. I decided to come to work and go back around 2:30. I figure a bunch of them wanted to try to get it in before work and since I can take off early today it will be better. Last election I walked right in and voted and was at work by 8. After voting I will lay in some supplies (i.e. lots of snacks)for tonight and get prepared to hunker down for a while. I have my predictions on an XL spread sheet and will tick them off as they come in.

1. Thanks!
One of those rethugs was probably a co-worker of mine. She's a big bush supporter. Yech!

2. Far out
I did finally get to vote. It was a computer that had a little wheel that you spin and then push "enter". There were no ballot initiatives but a lot of judges up for election. There were about ten of them running uncontested, all Republican. I did vote Repub for treasurer because I think that Paul Bettencourt is doing a good job and also the Sheriff because of the three law enforcement agencies in this area the county sheriff is the best in my opinion. Other than that, it was all Democrats for me.

3. For the uncontested republican judges, I didn't vote for any.
I just skipped it. They may win but without my vote!:-) When I voted early, it had the same electronic machine as your's.

4. Same here. I would NOT vote for a Repub this year if you paid me!
