what's the latest on Kelly White's recount

Last I heard the recount was on. An electronic one at that. That was going to cost several thousand dollars, either $5K or $30K. I have no idea when this gets finished. Her campaign manager did send out a press release that said it was going to happen but that was back on 11/4. Also I saw where the State Democratic Party was trying to collect $5K for the recount.

I'd like an update too. The only news I could find is about Mark Strama and how he's $100K in debt after his run. Expect to see fundraiser requests for that one soon. He's got until Dec 11th to get that retired.

I don't understand how a manual recount would be prohibitively expensive. This election was mostly done on DREs (Digital Recording Equipment) or BBVs, so what would the manual recount cover?
