1. I thought Henry was great
He has that little ethical cloud, though. Do you think enough time has passed for that not to be a hindrance?

2. Good question. My thoughts are yes, at the moment.
Hell, the homebuilders would love him. He is a homebuilder now.
And they have LOTS of clout. Unfortuantely.

3. You don't suppose Bob Perry will be donating to Henry
...do you?

That MAY be a serious question, depending on your answer...

7. No it hasn't.
Look at Tony Sanchez, that Terseo scandal happened years ago, longer than Henry's problem. Besides, Rove, the Dem killer, will also be the man behind the sceens again. Lets see, M White, A Richards, and Sanchez. Gary M was dead the minute Bulluck said he endorsed B* I would really hate to see Henry's fragile rep really get broken.

5. Can we keep Linda Medlar in seclusion for the length of the campaign?
I love Henry, but you KNOW some Republican loser will pony up some cash to get Linda back out in the public eye again.

8. Si se puede con Henry!
Si ganamos con Henry. Adelante con Henry.

Henry can win. Unlike Sanchez, he's a real Democrat, he's got public service experience, and very important he has style and charisma. And who cares about the sexual affair and lying to FBI part, he's past that and it's old news. At least it wasn't a drug laundering allegation.

He can attract money and more importantly he can attract voters especially the Latino vote.

However, not to burst our dream but I've heard the complete opposite. That he wouldn't run no matter what. He's making lots of money in the home building business and everyone knows the the Governor makes no real money. If he can keep his job in the industry and be Governor, he could do it.

11. No longer connected to Univision
Here's the short bio
Henry Cisneros
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Clinton Administration
Born: 6/11/1947
Birthplace: San Antonio, Texas

Henry Cisneros served as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1993 to 1997, under President Clinton. After working as a professor of environmental studies and a city councilor in his native San Antonio, in 1981 Cisneros was elected mayor, becoming the first Hispanic to serve as mayor of a major U.S. city. During his four terms Cisneros was a popular leader who helped revitalize downtown San Antonio. Cisneros pleaded guilty in 1999 to a misdemeanor count of lying to the FBI. In his 1993 background check for his cabinet position, he lied about payments he made to a former mistress. President Clinton pardoned him in January 2001.

Here's the Wikipedia entry for Henry
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_G._Cisneros

Here's the guy that's the CEO of Univision and maybe why your roommate made a face. He's a bush loyalist - Jerry Perenchio
http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/04_32/b3895109_mz016.htm
He leaves most of the daily operations to his executives but was himself the architect of such deals as last year's $3.5 billion merger with radio giant Hispanic Broadcasting Corp.

No doubt a help in getting the deal approved in Washington was Perenchio's loyalty to the Bushes: Over the years he has contributed $711,500 to the President and his father, says Common Cause.
