Tarrant County Democratic Counter Inaugural Ball
Anyone going to this?

Tarrant County Democratic Party Counter Inaugural Ball –

Brothers and sisters can you spare a dime? or a 20 spot? Don't let the Bush Depression Era get you down, join the Party for a party on Inauguration Night. We'll have music and room to dance, and lots of comfort food (call it a soup  a soup line, if you will,) and a cash bar.  Your $20 donation at the door pays the rent at the Tarrant County Democratic Party. PS: Dress up, or dress down.  Wear whatever you like, but the Democrat donning the best Depression Era duds will win a prize for best costume.

over to Ft. Worth, do ya?

Ya know, I'm jealous of ya'll. At least you're doing stuff. Our county party chair just fired the entire office staff. Way to go, that'll really help build up the grassroots! Excellent long-term planning IMO!

3. Ooo. Is it really within walking distance of the train?
I followed the link but I didn't see on the page *where* it is?

If I could take the train I might be more amenable. :)

Doubt it though, with "practice" and all... probably in "full pads".
