I am not a conservative (obviously), but I respect them. Barry Goldwater was a conservative. Warren Rudman is a conservative. Even George Will is a conservative. While I may have had (or have) differences with such people, at least one could talk to them and at least they would listen to an intelligent retort to their argument and do so with respect.

Ann Coulter is no more a conservative than she is a male of the human species (as some suggest). She has no respect for people who disagree with her; whom calls us traitors, even in the title of a book. She has no respect for the basic political liberties on which this country was founded. She refuses to engage in any intelligent discussion, preferring instead to resort to name calling and propagating dubious "facts."

Normally, I don't bother to say anything about Ms. Coulter. She really isn't worth the time. But a defense of the language seems to be order. She is not a conservative. She is a right wing kook.

5. I was surprised to see this on the

official Collin County GOP website. I had gone there to do a little research on something, and ACK! her picture pops up at me. You would think they would want to get somebody a little more respectable, or at least rational.

4. i can't believe the hypocrisy of the these people - Can you imagine

if John Kerry or Bill Clinton went to some function with a speaker that advocates bashing conservatives with baseball bats? And would it be used against them at campaign time? YOU BET!

I hope some one in the Dem party is paying attention and taking notes, if KBH or RP are going to a party specifically for Ann Coulter, they obviously believe the same things she does.
