KLIF drank too much Kool-aid
I posted this in GD, but I'd thought I would post here as well as it might affect more people. KLIF radio is using shock in its campaign for ratings and it is creating fear in the public to promote its neo-con agenda.

See here: KLIF is drunk on the Kool-aid

2. Yep!
That is one reason I bought Sirius so I could listen to some more progessive ideas. D/FW radio is horrible.

16. WRONG! Best talk shows anywhere are on KERA!
Diane Rehm in the mornings, and Glen Mitchell from noon until 2 and in
between you can listen to Terri Gross's incomparable "Fresh Air"

True, not what we need most, a talk show which will be a free for all that is liberal and local, but at least they are not crazy insane mean
and RIGHT WING!!!!!!!!!!!

Give Glen a try, he is just plain fun. Especially on Fridays

5. It wasn't just Kool-Aid, but some really serious chems had to have been
added, besides just the "sugar" and the "poisonous" water. Problem is they are distributing this shit for free.

KLIF used to be the best, way, way long time ago. So sad. Clear Channel strikes again.

7. Okay, so ClearChannel "don't owns klif". Who does?
I've been googling and I've traced it down this far. I'm tired and I quit for tonight. Glad just to still have some good grammer left intact, I hope.

8. Here is more info on them
http://www.susquehannaradio.com/aboutus/history.asp

Today, Susquehanna Radio Corp. is the 12th largest radio broadcasting company in the United States (based upon 2003 pro forma net revenue). The company owns and/or operates 21 FM and 11 AM stations in eight markets including Atlanta, GA; Cincinnati, OH; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Kansas City, MO; San Francisco, CA; and York, PA.

Take a look at KLIF webpage..their poll about their billboards and the HORRIBLY inflaming commercial that local stations refused to run.
Also on their main page is a link to their advertisers..wonder if calling them and threatening boycott$ would help???

10. OMG..look at their "diversity" pledge
Edited on Wed Jan-26-05 06:20 PM by rainbow4321
Uh-huh...for a company that supposedly embraces diversity, they sure have a funny way of showing it w/ those damn billboards.

Diversity Mission Statement

Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff is committed to a culture that expects, embraces, respects and values those individual differences that spark creativity, innovation, leadership and exceptional performance. We hold every employee accountable for supporting our corporate philosophy, living our diversity vision and creating an inclusive environment that values our employees, clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

Diversity Goals

Goal One: Create a culture of inclusion.
Goal Two: Expand the recruitment process and practices to attract and hire a diverse and highly qualified pool of candidates.
Goal Three: Build awareness and understanding through diversity education.
Goal Four: Create a diverse and supportive working environment that retains top performers and provides developmental opportunities for all employees.
Goal Five: Identify opportunities to expand presence in diverse markets.
Goal Six: Expand corporate citizenship in diverse communities.

And is THIS what the billboards fall under?:
