Vance blames Dems for break-in, lost laptops from Rep HQ
Chris(?) Vance, the state Republican Chairman, blames "..possible misled Democrats" for a break-in at state headquarters overnight, where 3 laptops in his office were taken after a window was smashed to gain entrance.
Just saw this on Northwest Cable News this morning. Boy, he looks like a JERK, though!
I wonder if some Dem hacker is busily making copies of "sensitive" material even as we type?
Who knows, but it won't be the FIRST time of another party breaking in and stealing secret info: Watergate comes to mind, and I KNOW the Bushies would CERTAINLY stoop AT LEAST this low.

The simplest answer is often the correct answer.

2. Just curious Bruce, but how many of the total break-ins nationwide...
...do you think are politically motivated? 1%? Less than 1%? Less that one-half of one percent?

Why would anyone want to know what's in the files at the state level of any political party? That information can be readily uncovered in a variety of ways without having to stoop to a break-in.

Additionally, Watergate was a break-in allegedly aimed at stealing information from the Democratic Party at the NATIONAL level. What made Watergate so interesting is that the perpetrators were allegedly "former" CIA agents who worked for the Nixon White House. What made it even MORE interesting is that at least one of the perpetrators was still getting paid by the CIA, or at least some faction of the Agency. Those people were also involved in the anti-Castro Cuban Task Force from the late 1950s through the mid-1960s, to include involvement in the recruiting, training of Cubans for the failed invasion of Bay of Pigs. Some say that at least a few of these individuals were involved in the JFK assassination.

10. Say! If you want to push that just a TAD further...
You could place George Bush senior at Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, as the coordinator of those Cubans, some of whom are seen in the Zapruder film.
Kinda fishy stuff, but pretty close to the truth, IMO.
I personally think it was the junkies that got Vance's laptops, but he'll put a spin on ANYTHING to win.

5. Yeah but he probably took a page from Roves play book
Like the Kerry team needed those computers to win Washington State.

Here's a couple pictures of the broken window and of the rock that broke it if you have seen them. You got to admit it took a rather small person to get through that broken window.

11. Thanks for the picture!
I hadn't seen that before. Looks like it was a squad of midgets or kids to get through THAT hole!
A set-up is very likely, I'd like to see the police report on this.

9. Not that I am justifying theft, but my question to Chris DUNCE would be...
...If this "sensitive" information was stored on a LAPTOP, then why the hell wouldn't you take the LAPTOP with you? That is what they were made for, dumbass!:silly: :dunce:

12. BINGO!!! We have a winner!
I agree That part too mystified me. If it were one laptop inadvertently left, I'd understand, but THREE for pete's sake? It's almost like they asked for it. And I bet they were left out in the open and not even locked. Bet one of them was open with a screensaver flashing "Steal me"!!!

The other -- if these Pugs were so filthy bloody rich and worried about Dems stealing their stuff where in the hell was their closed-circuit TV so they could catch the thieves red handed?
