How long are you having to wait to vote?
Up here in rural Whatcom County I voted in 5 minutes. Nice to be in the boonies.

3. No waiting
here in Oregon. I voted last week, at my kitchen table over a cup of coffee. Such a civilized way to cast one's ballot. Some day the rest of the country will catch up to Oregon. ;-)

6. People I've talked to here at work
report no or very little waiting. I think that a lot of us take advantage of absentee voting.

7. I voted absentee,
but I went to the polls with my mom this morning---we didn't have to wait at all. We're in the Eastside (of Seattle).

9. Good news here
We live in a very small, very rural, and VERY Republican town in Western Washington.

Voter turnout is LIGHT. However, every Democrat on my GOTV list has already voted! In other words, the Pugs are staying home.

YEAAAAAAARGH!

11. There was no waiting for me in Port Orchard, Kitsap county.
I went right in, voted, and right out. No problems. This was at about 9:00am and the big line was right after the polling place had opened, at 7:00. Made me glad I was late to get there.

12. No waiting
The poll worker for my precinct was a real putz, however. He seemed baffled that someone would coming in knowing what their precinct number was. (And, I admit, I might have forgotten if I wasn't a Dean delegate from it.) And then my wife who voted later really got pissed off by him; he forced her to go to the main person who tells people what their precincts are. And she was the Kucinich delegate from out precinct. Grrr.

But, no waiting, although almost all the booths were filled. I wish other states could learn by WA's example and staff their freaking polling places.
