Whose voting machines are used in Snohomish County? |
|
If you know for sure, could someone PM me? Thanks. In case you're interested, I'm curious because of this article: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/state/10317463.htmThanks.

But I voted absentee this year because of the touch screens.
Miscellaneous fact: I was driving by a industrial park near Paine Field and saw a company tucked away called Diebold voting. Makes you wonder. It was just before the election so I don't know if it's still there.

2. That is the infamous Everett printing plant of the one and only Diebold |
|
That is the location that Jeff Dean and John Elder, the two felons employed by Diebold, worked from. That little, leased business bay by Paine Field is the exact place much of the Diebold miasma originated...
That print shop location currently prints King, San Juan, Chelan, and Klickitat County ballots, as well as ballots for several counties in California.
But Snohomish County uses Sequoia touchscreens at the polls and ES&S optical scan ballots for absentees.

Does Gregoire have to pay for a "hand recount" of Snohomish Co. touchscreen machines? Seems illogical to me....Spock

Better yet, that way they will "hand recount" the touchscreens in Snohomish and Yakima Counties is that they will print out on thousands of pieces of paper what the machines say the voters voted.
So Gregoire gets to pay (or, more accurately, we, the members of the Washington State Democrats) for the cost of printing all of those UN-verified paper ballots out, as well as the cost of counting them.
The light at the end of the tunnel is that if Gregoire is the winner in the third count, then all of the money will be refunded, and the state will have to pick up the tab.
