Where is Families NW on expanded gambling?
Watched R. Mak's special last night on the expanded gambling question. Had Tim Eyman (not sure how to spell his name) pro gambling. What a bonehead.

A police officer from Federal Way was on, and brought incident reports from the last month or so, that revolved around gambling. I can't remember the total amount of incidents, but it was in the 70's. (really) She read a couple of them, parent abandoned children to gamble, armed robbery for gambling money. All this from limited gambling in a fairly small area (F, Way).

I would challenge Families NW to come up with one police report that shows how gay marriage has harmed children, and I am wondering if they so child welfare driven, so much to take a whole page ad out in the Seattle Times, against gay marriage simply because it would harm children, why wouldn't they attack expanded gambling with as much fervor since we have hard proof of the impact of gambling on children, and community resources. Unless families NW has a different agenda and this "for the children" thing is a cover.
