2. I feel your pain ... the offense did not show up.
Javon Walker went out with a knee injury as well.

3. Lousy offence and Refs with Detroit address.
Defensive holding was not in the rules when the pack had the ball.

5. Come on!
The refs couldn't help Detroit if they tried! The Lions just finally showed up for once.

endzone on the play before the botched FG and another on a 3rd down crossing route later in the game. Along with calling Farves pass a fumble and blowing the call on the interception that hit the ground.

19. Not to mention the hastily-measured 1st down for Detroit...
by a nose. Usually they take their time and are careful with that stuff, aren't they? I didn't even see them take pains to stretch out the chain.

13. Thanks...
It would be nice to have the Lions go at least .500 in the season we host the Superbowl.

9. The Pack looked horrible
I thought the refs did an ok job. A couple lousy calls both ways. But when you get 14 penalties for 100+ yards, the team is doing shitty, regardless of the refs. How many times is #28 - Carroll - going to be called for illegal hands to the face before Shermann gets him out of the starting lineup?! The guy was flagged at least 3 times for that today. And he did it a lot last year too.

Offense looked like crap. Defense looked lousy, but too many penalties. Put 'em together and it's easy to see why they lost.

It might be a looooong season. *sigh*

But they will bounce back. So much for the prediction of a perfect season.

15. You get to relive the 80s
Lousy economy and lousy team - when all the team's money goes to a washed up, non-team playing QB, this is what you get. As with our country's feckless leader, your QB is also naked. Never his fault, always the receiver. Now, if anyone has a still shot of the last sack where Favre's head was between the defensive lineman's legs, I'd love to get a copy.

21. Who says it's never Farve's fault?
Oh, I know, you must be watching Madden or one of those other brainless twits that call games on "sports" channels.

I suspect you're not from around here are you? I can't even count the number of people I know who stand in their livings rooms on Sunday afternoons shouting obscenities at Farve, people who have done so for many years. I can guarantee you, being the Packer QB is a pretty humbling job in Wisconsin. It's in our blood to keep our "hero's" feet on the ground. Nobody's britches get too big in this state if we have a say in it.

All you have to do is listen to our very own Larry McArran call games on Packer radio and you'd know how full of BS your remarks are. Methinks thee doth protest too much.

22. Oh I'm quite close...
A co-worker who calls in sick when GB loses. Lots of green and yeller coats when they win, none when they lose. Face it, since Holmgren and White left, it has been downhill. The downhill slide was the St. Louis game, 6 interceptions were quite exciting to watch. Saw plenty of mouth movement from "the man" Sunday, regardless if the pass was well thrown or not. $17 million, is he worth every penny?

23. Favre = MVP
More Vicodin Please...

:sarcasm:

It is always sad to see a great player end his career with a bad team. I hope he survives the season into December so the Bears can beat him twice.

(Yeah, I know, it'll never happen, but I can dream...)

24. And a cold one, I'll buy the first round
Only the stats will tell if he decides to finish the season. Ya gotta love those rookie offensive lineman, break out the rolaids, the official antacid of the NFL! Plenty of teams will be needing rolaids this year.
