Monday -- September 19 at 1:00 -- Whitefish Bay Village Hall.

This will be the first time our "representative" will venture into GRNS territory since stealing into Shorewood at virtually the crack of dawn last July.

Don't let him think you have forgotten about him. Since then he has racked up votes and opinions on the Patriot Act, Katrina relief and suspension of the Bankruptcy Act for Katrina victims. You can also ask about the President's suspension of wage protection during the reconstruction.

If you visit his site you will note the "red" areas of the 5th CD get the privilage of his company at the more accessible times of the day.
So all of you independent contractors, retirees, currently at home moms and especially the unemployed, let F. Jim know you are happy to see him. Bring your friends and neighbors.

And while you are at it...

If you can't make the meeting, please write him at [e-mail] or call at [phone]. Some suggested points:

* Protest his vote against the funding for the Gulf Disaster. His issue was accountability. Remind him we have blown massive amounts of money in Iraq, a war he approved, with no accountability.

* Demand that an independent commission be set up to oversee re-construction. While you are at it, demand that Karl Rove (details here) NOT be put in charge of this operation.

* Call for roll-back of the tax cuts to pay for this. Liberals have been fond of telling us future generations are going to be paying for these deficits. Uh Uh. You are seeing the effect right now with higher taxes here in the Northshore and cut backs in services.
