3. LOL, I didn't think you were old enough to remember Lindy, JC.
I didn't watch any of the game last night. I take it the Packers are going into the ground like a flaming dart.

5. I tuned out at halftime
It was too painful to watch...

what was the final score?

btw: Favre did NOT deserve to be tagged with an interception in the first half..it should have been ruled a fumble by the receiver.

8. As Much As I Hate to Admit it
The Packers need a year or two like this. Man it pains me to say that. We don't have the horses on defense, and our offensive line is like swiss cheese. Ahman Green has lost a step. And our top 2 corner backs alternate between penalties and getting beat. Let's not even go into the lack of discipline. We need a lot of change on this team. Aaron Rogers will be a good QB, not Brett, but a good QB in the NFL. We also need a new head coach. One that will instill the discipline the team needs.

Just my 2 cents as a life long Packer fan.

about a new head coach!!! And yes, we're definitely going to need some rebuilding years.

13. Aaron Rodgers is the future...
Hopefully this is Favre's last year (I like him it's just the last couple seasons he has been ruining his legendary status)...Aaron Rodgers is the future of this franchise and they need to start the future next season...currently they have got a great running back, great wide receivers (even though the best WR is out for the season) all that appears to be missing is a great quarterback....

15. I agree and disagree
I agree that Aaron Rodgers is the QB of the future. I had him rated #1 on my draft board. I disagree with you r statement about the running game. Ahman Green is not the back he once was. He has lost a step. Our receivers are good, not great, even with Javon Walker.

You miss, however, the real problem. Defense. We have no play makers on defense. We need to rebuild this team from the defense up if we want to win more championships.

16. Very true...
I think the next couple of seasons should be used to rebuild the Packers franchise...like you said the real problem is the defense...they better keep an eye open for any free agents and for next years draft...but even after the defense is at least improved, Ahman Green isn't the RB he once was...his average yards per carry is 3.4 (as of week 4) and I know its probably too early to say so, but I think this is going to be a bad season for Mr.Green...

18. Farve was awesome
he is still the best player on the team.I hope they put Rodgers in at some point and it won't take a quarter to miss Brett farve.People don't appreciate what they have, guys like Farve come around once a decade, just watch him and enjoy what he's doing because you may never get to see another like him in Green Bay again, ever.Believe me Brett Farve is not what ails the Green Bay Packers. They just aren't a very talented team.

21. Bleh...
If any defensive coordinator had ever figured out how to play Brett Favre he would have been even more abysmal than he was during those 4 pick days he'd have in between the miracles.

Look it's common knowledge that if you bring the blitz all day and use your secondary in a man-zone coverage that Brett will get flustered and make too many mistakes. Look at his interception counts.

Before though he had time even with the blitzes to get his rushed throws near the receivers. Now he is either flattened or throwing it completely towards the wrong guys.

They picked him off before plenty (and if the defensive coordinators had brains they could have done it regularly) but now his line is so awful that there is zero margin for error and thus Brett is a liability more than ever to this team.

23. You were the only one to figure
it out.The best defensive minds in the NFL never did,but you did. You're obviously in the wrong business.Favre beat several blitzs on Monday. His receivers get little or no separation so he takes a ton of chances and he loses some but that's is what you get with Brett. You people who think all that's bad is Brett are just amazing.

20. The step Green lost is not from speed.
It's clearly from his line getting that bad. Watch every play. Before he even gets a chance to burst the defenses are hitting him in the backfield. Ahman has had health problems but that's not why he is failing this year.

22. There have been holes
He just has not been able to hit them. He also has not gotten to the edge as quickly as in the past on the stretch plays. I agree that the line is not doing their job, but, remember, Barry Sanders had a worse line than the Pack has now, and he is the #3 running back in terms of yards in NFL history.

24. Forgive me for saying this though...
Ahman Green is certainly not nor ever was Barry Sanders. That's a very rare scenario indeed.

14. I liked Lindy Infante too.......but I'm a succor for all the Packer
coaches. I got my Packer "G" tattoo a long time ago and I'm not going to get it removed just because the Packers this year are 0-4!! It'll get better and really, so what if it doesn't. I'm just trying to appreciate Brett as long as we have him, because once he's gone the real hurt is going to start. GO PACK.
