Office hours, Rep. Gielow, Wis 23rd Assembly Dist

For anyone who would like to talk to Rep. Curt Gielow, who I believe is a prime mover of the "conscience clause" for health providers to deny care and prescriptions to patients, here are upcoming events. I got an e-mail today about this, and can't remember that he's ever sent one like it.

23rd Assembly District covers Mequon, Thiensville, Brown Deer, Bayside, and a little bit of northwest Milwaukee.

I am sharing this announcement with you because at some point in the
past we have corresponded by email about a legislative item or other
matter of interest, and I thought you would appreciate knowing about my upcoming office hours.

I will be holding a series of office hour sessions in October. These
meetings are an opportunity for constituents to meet with me and my
staff to discuss issues, legislation, problems with state government, or any other topic of interest. Appointments are not necessary as these are public and open events.

I will have on hand copies of my latest legislative newsletter (which
will be distributed soon in the district) as well as a limited supply of new Wisconsin highway maps and Wisconsin Blue Books. I hope you'll stop by and say hello.

The dates, times and locations of this Fall's office hours are as
follow:

* Saturday morning, October 15th, 2005 from 10:00-11:00 AM in
Mequon at the Mequon Safety Building, 11300 N Buntrock Avenue. (This
event coincides with a portion of the Mequon Fire Department's Open
House.)

* Saturday afternoon, October 15th, 2005 from 1:30-2:30 PM in
Bayside at the Bayside Village Hall, 9075 N Regent Road.

* Thursday evening, October 20th, 2005 from 6:00-7:00 PM in
Brown Deer at the 2nd Annual Business and Community Expo, Alexian
Brothers Pavilion, 9225 N 76th Street. (Rep. Gielow will have a booth
at the event.)
