Holy smokes it's cold!I was going to rake leaves this A.M.Looks like I'll have to chip the ice off them first.Ah yes now I remember the Wisconsin we have grown to love.That's Brisk baby!

This should kill off the few remaining mosquitoes....

There was the wonderful aroma from my neighbor's wood burner when I stepped outside this morning...frost on the unraked leaves. The Canada geese are coming back to the pond after feeding on the remains of the cornfields. They're noisy beasts, aren't they?

The cycle of life continues and all my troubles seem so small and insignificant.

2. I especially like

very early in the morning before everyone has arisen,the quiet and the crisp air is the best.of course another 10 degrees and it'll be too cold for me.
