Hey UWSP Alumni! I got my dorm assignment today!
Knutzen Hall.

Anything I should know about this particular hall before I go?

1. As a UWRF alum
I can say watch out for the low ceilings in the dorm stairwells. I once almost killed myself running down the stairs and hitting the front of my head on the ceiling and the back of my head on the stairs (fortunately the incident occured during a party so I hardly felt a thing, until the next day anyway  -> :hangover: ). I was just at a conference at UW-La Crosse and the dorms were nearly identical in design, so my comments are probably applicable to your dorm as well!

3. I don't know about that
Back in my day (circa early 1980's) RF was quite good at Hockey. As I recall we won the NIAI national championship in 1983. I have fond memories of sitting in section O for home games. On the other-hand, I was on the swim team, and we were admittedly not the best team in the conference.

4. I'm an alum but never had to stay in the dorms
Transfered as a Junior and got an exemption. One thing I've never experienced is dorm life.

I know my cousin, quick as she could, got into a one-bed dorm room at Stout. She couldn't get any studying done when she had roommates, not to mention all the other hassles related to rooming with a stranger. But I think all UWSP's dorms are two person dorms.

Is Knutsen Coed?
