I'm glad that Mary Panzer and her RW flake pals weren't able to ammend
our State Constitution with TABOR yesterday.
What arrogance these swine have.
All Power To The People, like it says in the Constitution!

2. Agreed!
All the more reason to work hard for Assembly and Senate Candidates. All it takes is a majority in one house to keep it from even coming to the floor.

It just doesn't seem to die...

Hopely we can turn one of the houses.

By the way, great image, it kind of makes my head hurt when I look at to long.

But I guess that happens any time I look at any icon of the repubs to long.

7. Perhaps, but they don't have all of the puke Assembly seats
and Senate seats.

Call me a dreamer but with a total of 99 Assembly seats and 33 Senate seats spread across the state, I still think there is a possibility.

10. I dunno
Gard's pissed off a lot of people here in the 89th. At the parade in Coleman, he got chewed out quite a bit by the crowd. If Don Peterlin Wins the dem primary, we've got a good shot of sending him back home to Sun Prarie. If Bruce Berman wins the primary... Oy. It'll be the Gard-Hagar "contests" all over again. Also, Kathy Chapagne has great chance to pick up Seratti's old seat. In the Senate, Hansen's race is gonna be tough. This time he does not have the Packers stadium issue to back him up, Drzwiecki's running for his old seat back, and the rethugs are targetting this race. It ain't gonna be pretty.

12. How's that old situation with his residency....
... being viewed by the locals? In the past it hasn't seemed to have been of much concern.

14. Peterlin's making it an issue.
Some fans that he distributes at parades read "Oh, by the way, he really lives in Peshtigo!".

17. Stephen Dedow, Dem candidate in the 53rd Assembly District
is adamantly opposed to TABOR.

Anyone interested in joining his campaign and/or walking an AFL-CIO member to member lit drop? We're walking in the Town of Algoma (Oshkosh) on Saturday, August 14th for a few hours in the morning. You'd be very welcome, union member or not. We need to replace Carol Owens.

9. I was glad to hear Doyle slap her down
saying she was in a political "panic" because she has an opponent in the primary.

11. Ahh yes, Panzer.
A name you associate with fanatical right wing fascism for more than one reason.

IIRC, who was it here that photoshopped Panzer's head on an SS Tanker's body?

13. If you don't want fascism...
... pray that she can fend off Glenn Grothman. A lot of us here in his district are PRAYING that she does. Then we're finished with him. He can do a lot of damage as a state senator, more than he's done as an assemblyman.

15. So you're saying Panzer is a moderate?
or at least not as psycho as Grothman?

I ask seriously because I have never really followed the pukes that closely in this state except for my own senator and assemblyman. I know of a few moderates, but the ones I know have either bailed on politics or they have been neutralized by the wackos.

16. That's my understanding, Mary Panzer is considered middleroad not RW
those are my perceptions, however, and I know they're being manipulated for political reasons.

18. "I'm from West Bend and I aughta know...."
Sorry, the old Blatz jingle just sneaked in there.

Glenn is right wing. I mean REALLY right wing, as in nuts. Nice guy on a personal level, and he doesn't rant or look like sinister like Dave Zein, but he's probably the most right wing member of the Assembly.

Mary is a classic politician. She'd bash Chuck Chvala at the GOP Brat Fry, and then make deals with him the next day. She's a compromiser, a pragmatist. So naturally she's dead meat.
