"Make a call or send an email, saying that you don't want Kevin Brandt's View from the Couch, to further divide Milwaukee, with his comments about Sen. Kerry. He discussed the convention in such derogatory terms, and slammed Mr. Kerry for pressing the need for alliances when actiing against terrorism...Mr. Brandt is no more a political journalist, than I am a DJ. I won't be listening and I'll be contacting the advertisers for the morning drive as well."

As a long time past listener, I cannot listen to WKLH any more. I don't want Kevin Brandt's View from the Couch, to further divide Milwaukee, with his comments about Sen. Kerry. I won't be listening and I'll be contacting the advertisers for the morning drive as well. If we wanted political hatemongering we could always turn on Mark Belling. If you cannot balance his views by having someone to counter his Kerry bashing, you should at least have him point out we have record bankruptcies, record home foreclosures, record deficit, 1000+ dead coalition soldiers based on lies to create a preemptive war against a country that never attacked the US; and all this happened under George W Bush. I have a brother in the military, and don't want to see him die for Bush's lies. Would you accept a family member to be sent to death for this war? Stick to what you do best, air Dave & Carol being themselves. Nothing more, nothing less.

2. I stopped listening to them about 2 years ago!

I was so sick of hearing Brandt's political comments - Carole/Dave just kind of agreeing, going along with them and then sometimes making their own comments in situations where it wasn't even called for!

Milwaukee talk radio is nothing but junk to listen to! I was born here and lived here for over 30 year - moved to Illinois for 11 years and moved back in '97. I opened my mind a little to other places and found when I came back, a lot of hosts really had nothing to say except rude nasty comments about their own personal beliefs. Jon Green makes some of the meanest comments about Chicago/Illinois and is not kidding! Sykes and Belling are nothing but repuke haters and always right about everything!

We need Air America here!!

PS - I will send the email even though I really stopped listening long ago. I also sent an email to NBC/MSNBC this morning - I'm on a roll!

4. Anyone tune in to WMCS yet?

They just flipped to an urban talk format targeting African-Americans.

I've only listened a little, and some of the shows are quite dull. But it doesn't seem RW at all.

Tom Joyner on WJMR (98.3) is a Democrat, although his show is not very political.

Seems the only alternative radio is sometimes on black stations. After all, we know they're not voting for Bush. Only exception is V-100. They're Clear Channel rap trash with canned DJs.
