Appleton LTTE: Feingold's actions endangering country
http://www.postcrescent.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060104/APC0601/601040611/1036

Democrat Sen. Russ Feingold has taken the pilot seat of the Russ Feingold for President airliner. Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel is the co-pilot. Flight attendants guarding the cockpit door are Democrat senators Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid.

The Feingold airliner is being fueled by wealthy, left-wing activists. The first-class passenger list is overbooked with main-stream-media types clamoring for a Feingold sound bite.

Now boarding in coach are al-Qaida terrorists living in the United States who, thanks to the New York Times and presidential wannabe Feingold, are free to move about the cabin without the fear of the National Security Agency listening into international phone calls involving al-Qaida suspects.

By playing politics with American lives, the Feingold airliner is acting in concert with al-Qaida terrorists looking to kill Americans. Captain Feingold announces to his passengers that it's "an absurd idea" to listen in and "an outrageous power grab" by President Bush.

Damn the koolaid is strong in Appleton! :spray:

1. Wow
There's a person who really knows how to beat the ever-loving-shit out of a metaphor. That thing is now officially dead.

And why do they have a problem with al-Qauida roaming around the cabin of an airplane that represents Feingold's presidential run? Or perhaps they screwed up, forgot their metaphor, and thought the airplane was symbolic of the US. No, can't be the latter, that would make the writer a complete dipshit.

2. I wondered why someone possibly running for president as a Republican
would be co-piloting the Feingold for President plane. :eyes:

I blogged this, mostly without comment -- the letter speaks for itself.

3. It has me speechless - more like what I'd see a bit more to the west.
I mean, what do you say to something so insane?

In a way, it's good the Appleton paper published it. Hopefully this will taint any future LTTE's of even a milder flavor.

4. I agree about the Kool Aid part...
Seems like the kool aid man broke through the wall pretty hard there and was yelling "Oh Yeah!" as this dumbass was concocting this...

They sure like to say that dissent puts us all in danger? Poor brainwashed morons who have no idea of how our country was created in the first place.
