This man has done more things that are troubling at least, probably illegal in many ways, in the less than 2 years he has been in office than anybody I can ever remember! At the end of the article it speaks of the MANY things he has been caught doing that makes him look like an idiot!

He used space as 'ego trip,' they say; he says it kept work public

Menomonee Falls - A majority of trustees said Tuesday that they stripped Village President Jefferson Davis of his office space and keys to Village Hall because they didn't approve of his behavior in the building.

"It's almost as if you have a youth in your care and you need to set some parameters because they want to push the envelope and see how far they can take things," she said. "That, to me, is not common sense."

Waukesha County District Attorney Paul Bucher is investigating Davis' campaign finances and a switch of the village's health insurance to a company for which Davis was a registered agent.

Davis also ran up a $491 monthly bill on a village cell phone and was the subject of a harassment complaint for which the village spent more than $9,000 in legal fees before Davis was cleared with an admonishment to monitor his behavior.

Davis also used the village's Police Department to investigate his political opponents and pick up his teenage son from a soccer game.

Davis told supporters in July that he hoped Menomonee Falls could "take over" the police and fire departments in neighboring Lannon without having consulted with his own Fire Department or trustees.

Just clicking through the radio today and heard JD talking about how his "office" was actually just a closet and how he was using that teeny-weenie space to protect all the citizens of the universe from the awful taxation of the awful gubment.
