Kind: He will support the Democrat who carries his district
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Rep. Ron Kind says that he'll cast his super-delegate vote for whichever presidential candidate wins the most votes in his congressional district in next week's Democratic primary.

Kind is a Democrat representing the 3rd Congressional District in southwestern Wisconsin. As a super-delegate, he is not bound by the results of the state's primary between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama.

But he also is urging the Democratic National Committee to scrap the super-delegate system. Kind says it can be used to thwart the will of voters.

All seven Democrats in the state's congressional delegation are super-delegates.

1. I support that unpledged delegates have the right to vote for whoever they choose.
I would suggest that if he doesn't have a strong choice on who the nominee should be then his vote should be cast based on the results in his Congressional district. But if he has personal knowledge or experience that suggests one would be better than he should vote what is best for the country. If by the time the convention convenes and their are revelations about a candidate that worries the delegate enough they should have the right to vote for the other candidate.

The pledged delegates don't have the right to change their mind and rightly so. They campaigned at their state convention or however it is done in their state for those delegate positions. And it wouldn't be fair to take a delegate vote away from a candidate who won the delegate based on what the voters knew at the time of the primary.

RECAP

1) Based on the following: Knowledge of both candidates. Experience of both candidates. Interaction with both candidates.

2) Based on any revelations exposed by convention time.

3) If none of the above then base vote on results of their constituency.

2. If unpledged delegates vote based just on their district then what's point of super delegates?
